Starting Storybird

In moana we started up a little thing called storybird. In case you don't know what story bird is it is a digital platform that you can create your own writing based on a picture. Your teacher can sign you up for assignments such as the one I did called 'the chase' where you could write your own story about you chasing something or it chasing you.  Here is a storybird I did on the chase.

There are some stories where they let you have some words more than once. You can make sad, epic, scary, funny and awesome stories to wow everyone. I really think everyone should start using it. It is awesome.

My Maths Diplomas and medals

Earlier this week I got my big and little diploma. They aren't real diplomas they are just digital game times table diplomas off a site called https://www.timestables.co.nz . It's free to sign up of an account and it's really helpful because now I know my seven times tables, not off by heart but im close to that. The little diploma is the one on the top and the big diploma is the one on the bottom. On the times tables game you can earn certain times tables diplomas like your seven times table diplomas, as well as medals.

On the right there are my medals and my diplomas for separate times tables. You can earn your medals by doing individual tasks like answering them in a row in order then answering them all mixed up.

My Matariki Retell

This is my matariki retell. We did this for our reading activities on week 7. I worked very hard on this and I am very proud of the outcome. Basically I tell you about all the stars of matariki and what they do and represent. After that, I tell you a myth on how they came to life and more.
